Hello everybody,
I was experimenting with engines on max depth with really good computer hardware and decided to run Lc0 (white) and Rybka 2.3 (black) to play a 6 hour game and Lc0 played 3.h3!?
I checked this idea on a much weaker Stockfish on Lichess and it suggests that the move is also sound, however there seems to be very little master games with this variation.
Does anyone know why this is a good move and why Lc0 played it? To me it just seems as a waste of a tempo.
