Which openings beginners should play?

I am talking about beginners with the rating of 500-1000.

Beginners should play openings which has less theory but proper plan.

You can forget opening move but once you understand the plan you can apply the plan.

I think beginners should start with d4 move and explore some opening systems, like london, colle, Stonewall.

With black you can play Scandinavian defense against e4 and against d4 you should play benko gambit.
